Q: How long have you been living in NYC/NJ? What brought you here? What are your favorite things about where you live?
A: I’ve been living in the NYC/NJ since birth. This is the third town I’ve lived in, but I’m enjoying living in Bergen County because of its close proximity to NYC and the great places to dine and shop in my area. I also find that my neighborhood is very walkable and that is very enjoyable.
Q: You are a jack of all trades! When you're not modeling, what are your favorite things to do?
A: During my downtime, I’m a true crime buff, so I’m listening to podcasts and watching documentaries around that subject. I’m also enjoying planning my upcoming wedding!
Q:What do you think about sustainability? Do you have any tips/tricks for sustainable and conscious living?
A: Sustainability is so important to me. It is one of the ways we can be responsible consumers/business owners. I do enjoy online shopping, so I recycle or reuse anything that I can before disposing of it or recycling it. I also take pride in using reusable bags whenever I grocery shop or run my errands. It’s so easy and a great way to cut back on plastic bags.
Q: What is your go-to item in your closet that you can wear with anything?
A: I just purchased a Quilted Padded Jacket from the Frankie Shop and I know I’ll be wearing it all Fall/Winter with everything from denim & turtlenecks to sweatsuits and sneakers.
Q: What is your favorite style from our collection? Or what is your favorite way to style one of our Fall items?
A: I cannot wait for the Valor boot to drop. I love combat boots, so the unique woven detail on this style is to die for. It’s true salt and umber and it’s definitely a head turner. I love the idea of an all black look with different textures so I would pair that with a chunky knit and black ripped denim and in the dead of winter, layer a thick sock underneath it for an even cozier vibe.
Q: Any other tips/tricks for creating an easy yet chic capsule wardrobe?
A: I’m definitely struggle with creating capsule wardrobes because I love unique pieces. But it’s easier to focus on the season. Capsules are built around basics so it’s important to have solid basics like a great quality turtleneck, well fitting quality denim and a great coat/jacket and a well made knit. That way you can work in your unique pieces and get creative with your basics. Have fun with it and play dress up!
Q: Favorite colors for Fall?
A: I love the idea that brighter colors are trending. Kelly green was a big color this summer so I like that this color is muted down a little and olive green will be popping up this Fall. Olive pairs so well with many colors so it’s a nice way to brighten up the typical Fall wardrobe.
Q: Favorite Fall fashion trends?
A: My favorite fashion trends are definitely leather separates like blazers, trousers and coats. I think these are staples but I love that the silhouettes and color options for leather are updated. I’m also still loving the idea of a sweater vest. Perfect for layering underneath/with your leather separates!
