Refund policy

Salt and Umber offers exchanges or store credit within 15 days of purchase if you are not completely in love with your new salts! To be eligible for returns items must be unworn and in original packaging. Please understand that we cannot offer free return shipping or refunds at this time.

Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs for exchanges or store credits, we will supply the return shipping label to you and will deduct $10 from your credit for the return of USA shipping.

If you are based outside of the USA- all duties and taxes are estimated and the responsibility of the buyer. We cannot reimburse any duties incurred. Return shipping for items being returned from outside of the USA is the responsibility of the customer.

Please note once a package shows delivered we cannot be held responsible for lost and stolen packages, and cannot refund or replace your order. If your package has been lost or stolen, please contact the carrier to place a claim.

A note about fit: Most of our styles fit true-to size, but you may notice that when you first try on your size it may hug your foot snugly. This is the sign of a good fit (unless it is uncomfortable!) Our leather footwear should feel very form-fitting, almost like it is “hugging” your foot- within a couple of wears, the leather will slightly stretch and mold to the shape of your foot. If the fit is uncomfortable or incorrect, or you are unhappy with the style, please email us at hello@saltandumber.com and we will provide you a store credit or an exchange for a different size or style!

We know you are going to love your new salts! All of our shoes are handmade, with premium leathers or fabrics and components for a comfortable fit. Due to the handmade nature of our footwear, unique yet subtle and beautiful natural variations may occur and we hope they are embraced.
